In Episode 5 of Season 2, chef Bill Brodsky cooks a delicious multi-course meal for the Swampscott, Massachusetts, homeowners and their friends. Before the dinner party begins, Parker Kelley visits Brodsky in his restaurant, Southern Kin in Somerville, Massachusetts. The restaurant is a nod to his time spent in the South, where he studied to be a chef and also worked on branding a hotel with Southern charm. At Southern Kin, he has brought menu items up to the northeast, but also a new dining experience. “Southern food is so much about bringing people together to enjoy a good memory,” he says. “It’s about hospitality. There is certainly some amazing food there, so it’s been fun to bring that to Boston.”
