Super Bowl Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 large white onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1 beer
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 3 cans of any bean you would like
  • 2 cans chopped green chilis
  • 2 tablespoons cumin
  • 1 tablespoon coriander
  • ¼ cup chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation Method

    1. Finely dice the onions and garlic. In a large pan, add the olive oil and begin sauteing the onion and garlic.
    2. Add the ground meat to the pan and sauté until fully cooked. Add in the dried seasonings.
    3. Add the tomato products, beer, and broth. Simmer for 15 minutes.
    4. Add the beans and chopped green chilis.
    5. Simmer for at least 15 minutes before serving.
    6. Garnish with avocado, sour cream, cheese, jalapenos, the options are endless!
