Winter Happenings at Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club

At Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club, winter isn’t just a season…it’s a celebration! With new and exciting happenings for New Englanders, Ocean Edge Resort has made its mark as the -coolest- place on Cape Cod.

This February Vacation Week from Feb 12 – 21, Ocean Edge Resort has the perfect escape for kids: The EDGEVenture Superhero Academy. The EDGEVenture Superhero Academy is where all kids turn into superheroes and can spend the week channeling their inner superheroes with cape and mask making, comic book storyboard workshops, radioactive spider slime making, super scavenger hunts and much more. Put your brainpower to the test at the superhero trivia night, guardians mixtape trivia night and superheroes vs villains feud game show. After a day full of fighting off evil, unwind with fellow superheroes at the daily (and socially-distanced) movie nights. Take home a memory with a visit to the super bear factory where heroes can select a sidekick, stuff it, pick out a fun outfit (superhero outfits available) and give it its own superhero name and power. All superheroes must get a good night’s rest to fight off villains and Ocean Edge Resort has just the place. Ranging from one-bedroom villas at The Villages to the three-bedroom Presidential Bay Collection Villas at The Mansion, heroes have the perfect accommodations to ensure strength to fight off evil the next day. Activities are exclusive to and complimentary to resort guests.

Can’t make it for superhero week? Not to worry – the resort’s Director of FUN, Jessica G., has filled this entire season with a series of ongoing activities and entertainment for guests of all ages, including a framed glass art workshop, mixology workshop and much more. Check out the entire schedule of events here.

A trip to the AAA Four-Diamond resort this winter would not be complete without time spent at Frost Bar. Exclusively available through March, the pop-up winter wonderland experience is a must-visit instagrammable moment for all. The pop-up includes indoor seating with a la carte menus and specialty Frost Bar cocktails, such as the Jack Frost and Hot Cocoa Martini. However, the star of the show is the collection of geodesic igloos that provide a private dining experience with specialty dining packages for groups up to six. What’s on the menu? A ‘BuildYO” Slider board, Raw Bar with Brewster oysters, and a hot Chocolate board with hot cocoa, mini marshmallows, chocolate covered pretzels and more sweet treats, to name a few. Cozy on up in the igloo with adirondack chairs, toasty heaters, string lights, comfy individual blankets, and a bluetooth speaker to create a personalized setting. Come for the igloos, but stay for the night. Book the First Frost package and receive a 10% savings on accommodations for one-night stays and 20% savings on accommodations for two-night stays or longer in a Mansion Wing Guestroom, as well as a $150 food and beverage credit put towards the igloo experience. When not cozied up in the room or at Frost Bar, guests can enjoy the rest of the resort’s winter amenities, including the Beach House Spa, indoor heated pools, and wintry walks along the resort’s private beach. Please note that time availability for the igloos on weekends is in high demand, so please call for igloo availability before booking. For more information, please visit www.OceanEdge.com or call 508-896-9000.
