An Urban Oasis in Boston’s Seaport District

Mike and Paul lived in the city for years and they were ready for a change. The suburbs crossed their minds because of the slower pace and the promise of quiet, but then they found a pearl: a single-family home in the Seaport District of Boston. In a neighborhood of condos and high rises, this was an unusual find, and they decided to go for it.

Once a nearly vacant area of Boston, the Seaport has transformed into a hotspot and continues to grow with new galleries, retail stores, start-ups and restaurants popping up all the time. From Mike and Paul’s roof deck, it is easy to see that they are in the center of it all. However, descend into their home and the bustling city life fades away in the peaceful environment they’ve created. An open-concept dining and entertainment floor to a room reserved for meditation, Mike and Paul have found the peace they were looking for without leaving the city they love.
