Cooking For a Dinner Party in Stowe, VT

Before heading to Wendy’s house for her much-anticipated dinner party, Parker met with Chef Jason Pacioni, owner of Black Diamond BBQ. Together, they concocted the perfect menu made from  local ingredients.

That evening, as guests were arriving to Wendy’s house, Parker and Jason began the meal preparations. The entrée consisted of a local rack of lamb massaged with olive oil and sprinkled with fresh herbs, garlic, salt and pepper. As the lamb cooked on the cast-iron skillet, Parker and Jason checked in on Brad, a fellow chef, who prepared some of Wendy’s favorite appetizers: Oysters Rockefeller and Mediterranean Tuna Tartare.

The final meal preparation was the mussel dish. Parker and Jason filled the mussel pan with local Gose beer (after the initial beer taste test), their fresh herb mixture, garlic, and cherry tomatoes. The dish went into the pizza oven for a few minutes and was ready to serve with toasted bread, completing the perfect dinner party menu.
