With the opening of a 15,000 sf Rockland, MA showroom in 2009, the current iteration of Roomscapes was born. While the showroom, which offers homeowners the opportunity to ogle countless products and displays, is less than 10 years old, the history behind the company goes back much further.
The debut of the design center coincided with a merge of two companies; Kitchen Concepts, a kitchen and bath design firm established in 1977, and Roomscapes, a company founded in 1998 which worked with homeowners in the design and remodeling of “other rooms in their homes,” according the company’s website. With the merge, Roomscapes morphed into a truly full-service design company for every room in the home offering an exquisite array of products in a single location.
A sharp eye for detail and cutting-edge approach to design, paired with a well-established reputation for consistently delivering quality, have led to Roomscapes and their designers garnering a host of awards. The showroom earned a PRISM award for Best Showroom the year it opened. More recently, this Julie Lyons/Cameron Snyder designed kitchen won first place in the transitional category in Clarke’s Annual Kitchen Design Contest in 2014/15. The kitchen was also featured in the premiere issue of New England Living magazine.
Roomscapes was kind enough to share photos of additional projects with us.
Like the award-winning kitchen above, this kitchen melds high design with function, creating a sense of livable luxury.
Custom cabinetry, a hallmark of Roomscapes’ designs, maximizes every inch of the space… beautifully.
From one end to the other, this open space is unified by the deft use of millwork and cabinetry.
An ancillary space within this open kitchen accommodates a bar which would surely be the envy of any at-home mixologist.
Roomscapes Cabinetry & Design Center is located at 40 Reservoir Park Drive, just off Route 3, in Rockland, MA.
