It is now four years that Morgan Franklin has been with Coldwell Banker, and work has never been better for the agent. Aligning with the company, says Franklin, has been “totally instrumental for overall international resources, expanding networks and elevating business.” Last year, Franklin was a recipient of the company’s prestigious 30 under 30 award, which celebrates top young real estate professionals who have made their mark at Coldwell Banker. Franklin credits mentors in Coldwell Banker with fostering new breakthroughs pertaining to the reach and potential of the sales team he manages, which includes two other agents and three administrative workers. “We pack a lot of power! We’re small but mighty.” Franklin’s success isn’t just in knowing the key strengths of all team members and using that knowledge to facilitate better business practices, but also in knowing the city like the back of his hand. In fact, Boston, where he was born and raised, has been his stomping ground his whole life. “I’m not a transplant. I grew up in the South End, and I’ve seen these neighborhoods evolve.”
This innate understanding of Boston has helped Franklin direct clients towards new ideal living spaces. “It’s easy for me to give sound advice and be able to feel the right fit. I’m kind of a matchmaker.” Franklin primarily covers the neighborhoods of South End, Back Bay, Beacon Hill, Fenway, Seaport District, and South Boston. One of his favorite listings that he’s currently managing: an apartment 67 Revere Street in Beacon Hill, which is on the market for $2.45 million. “It’s a penthouse triplex with awesome finishes.” As for the market in general, Franklin and his team are buckled in for what’s to be yet another busy season ahead. “August is extremely busy, and that’s a good indicator that the fall market will be a windfall of transactions,” Franklin says that right now is an optimal time for both buyers and sellers. “There are a lot of buyers out there who have been waiting for two years to find something. People are moving again. It’s really great to see.”
