This December, the historic Amherst Village Green in New Hampshire will be transformed into a festive winter wonderland for the annual Amherst German Christmas Market. Blending the charm of a classic American holiday fair with authentic traditions of a German Christkindlmarkt, this event offers a unique and unforgettable seasonal experience.
What to Expect:
- Unique Finds: Browse over 50 local vendors offering a curated selection of handmade crafts, farm goods, and authentic European wares—perfect for finding truly unique gifts.
- German Delights: Savor delicious food offerings, including classic sweet treats and savory German specialties.
- The Biergarten Experience: Head to the Weihenstephan Biergarten to sample traditional glühwein (warm, spiced wine) and German beers, or visit our other beverage vendors for a variety of non-alcoholic hot and cold beverages as you stroll.
- Festive Entertainment: Enjoy live performances featuring German music and Christmas classics. Keep an eye out for special appearances by both Santa and the mischievous European folk figure, Krampus!
The Amherst German Christmas Market is a non-profit, volunteer-coordinated event that brings the community together to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year.
