Boston real estate agent Morgan Franklin’s portfolio includes luxury high rises overlooking the city

For Morgan Franklin, a Boston-based agent with Coldwell Banker, this year is already off to an impressive start. “For the first quarter, we’ve already done $20-plus million for volume, and we have some really cool listings coming up.”
One of these properties, located at 1 Dalton Street, is a private residence on the 47th floor and overlooks the city Franklin has always called home. It’s an exciting listing for the agent who grew up in the South End and has watched new architecture breathe fresh form and personality into the city right before his eyes.
Luxury high rises are just one type of property in Franklin’s portfolio. Thanks to robust customer referrals, business has also expanded into new territories up to 15 miles outside the city, a move that serves the evergreen interest for homes in suburban areas like Newton, Medford and Arlington. “If we get referrals we are going to where clients want us to be.”
Franklin, who has been with Coldwell Banker since 2016, says these client referrals and relationships are critical to success, and have been fundamental to helping his group become a top performing team. “Real estate just happens to be the product and service we provide, but in reality, it’s the relationships that we’re focused on.”
This attention to detail has helped Franklin and his team grow and thrive over the years. “There’s been no upset in business since I started with Coldwell Banker in 2016. It’s only increased every single year.”
Franklin and his team of two agents and three administrators are ready to embrace whatever lies ahead. Everyone is excited and optimistic. “We’re set to double our business year over year. There are so many wonderful things happening in the city right now… Newbury Street and the Seaport are booming with new store fronts, retail shops and restaurants. There are multiple upscale international destinations opening such as the Raffles new restaurant, La Padrona,” he says. “Boston is one of the most solid markets in the country.”
