Leah Piantidosi launched her career as a Massachusetts real estate agent in 2020, right as the pandemic struck the globe. As challenging as this entry into the world of real estate sounds, Piantidosi says this unusual timing provided an unconventional and compelling framework for learning and fortified her ability to problem-solve while helping clients with their real estate transactions.

Formerly a small business owner, Piantidosi understands the importance of considering many small details at once and now has channeled that attention to detail into her role as an agent specializing in residential and commercial listings, luxury properties, and even as a resource for short sales and foreclosure clients. To navigate unfamiliar terrain in those early days, Piantidosi says she asked many questions of other agents. “I probably learned things a lot differently than most people, and it got real busy real quick.”

Now, Piantidosi, along with her close team of two associates, including her brother, Jeff Piantidosi, and Andrew Buco, who is “like family” and grew up with the siblings, operates out of the Andovers-Readings regional office of Coldwell Banker. Piantidosi says that their coverage area is expansive between the three of them, and they are willing to serve clients up to three hours away from the Cape, to the mountains of New Hampshire, and the lakes of Maine.

Piantidosi, who grew up in North Andover, understands the allure of Massachusetts and towns outside of Boston for prospective homebuyers seeking more space to raise families. “There is lots of money being pumped into schools in the suburbs, as well as development, and development brings commerce.”

Piantidosi is busier than ever and appreciates Coldwell Banker’s online digital reach and targeted marketing. “They are always at the forefront of real estate.”

Currently, Piantidosi is representing a classic New England property at 122-132 Main Street in Essex that awaits its next owner. “It was a well-known restaurant and 21-room inn with 17 private dock slips on the Essex River, right across from Woodman’s seafood restaurant,” Piantidosi says there is so much potential for this property, currently listed at $5.3 million, especially for developers who seek to build something that can become a part of New England’s legacy. “Essex is a true New England town, and the property is just beautiful.”
