The New England Patriots aren’t the only ones grinding it out every day at Gillette Stadium. The field crew shows up day in and day out, ensuring the Pats have the best conditions possible to do their job on game day. Now, thanks to a newly announced partnership with BRUNT Workwear, the field crew will have a little more pep in their step, as the brand has announced that it will outfit the crew with its signature boots and co-branded apparel, keeping them comfortable, safe, and supported all year long.

BRUNT CEO Eric Girouard (third from left), with Tom Glaser, Drew Lorenzo, Ryan Bjorn, Chris Hurley, and Tyler Pirnie, all members of the Gillette Stadium field crew.

“We built BRUNT for the millions of people who lace up their boots every morning to build this country and keep the engine running,” says Eric Girouard, Founder and CEO of BRUNT Workwear. “I grew up watching the Patriots every Sunday with my family and my buddies, and I know that they can’t perform their best without the right crew behind them who makes it all possible. We’re proud to stand behind the Gillette Stadium Field Crew, and to keep them comfortable and safe while they’re putting in the work.”

Now the fastest growing workwear brand in the United States, BRUNT was founded in 2020 with the mission of supporting modern blue-collar trade workers with high-quality work boots and apparel.

“Our partnership with the Gillette Stadium Field Crew felt like a natural fit for us. Workwear brands should be built with and for the people who actually wear the products—the workers who get up every day and make things happen,” says Girouard. “The Field Crew is grinding year-round in every kind of weather to keep the fields and facilities in pristine condition so the players can perform at their best. Mowing, sodding, seeding, laying down lines. Sun, rain, snow, their job never stops. That kind of work ethic should be celebrated, and we have the right mix of products to support them in every season.”

BRUNT Workwear collaborates with trade workers directly to develop products designed to make their lives easier. Each signature product is named after a real worker who inspired the design. In addition to the bestselling Marin boot, BRUNT’s lineup includes a range of jobsite-approved work boots and a growing selection of apparel and accessories.

The BRUNT x Patriots partnership also includes game-day activations, featuring three BRUNT-hosted tailgates at home games: September 7 vs. the Raiders, November 2 vs. the Falcons, and December 14 vs. the Bills. These tailgates provide an opportunity for BRUNT to build a deeper connection with customers and the trade community right here in New England and will be open to anyone who wants to stop by.

“We’re proud to have BRUNT on board as an official sponsor, supporting the hardworking members of the crew that make every game day possible this football season,” says Ryan Bjorn, Field Superintendent for Gillette Stadium. “From mowing, sodding, to hauling equipment, our crew works tirelessly to give fans and players a seamless game day experience, and BRUNT’s gear is built for the job.”
